The past two weeks of my life have been absolutely insane! I have done approximately 136 hours of work over that time, for two different employers.
One job I was filling in for the grounds keeper at a school. So I was required to open up the school every morning and perform other random duties. In order to open up and get all the morning tasks done I would have to wake up at 5:00am and would be at work by 5:30.
The other job was part of the opening of a brand new venue. And we had two shows a day. One at 7:30 then a completely different one around 10:30. This gave us approximately 40 mins to do a bump out of one show and bump in another show. I would usually finish here around 11:00pm and by the time I would make it home it would be midnight.
So, starting each day at 5:00am and finishing at midnight gives me five hours sleep a day! By the end of this week i was beginning to lose my mind.
Last night was the last shift of madness. This finished at 1:00am this morning and it was such a relief to have it over and done with.
