The floor has been rolled up today which makes the end of the years performances. If you don’t know what the hell I’m talking about then I’ll have to explain now won’t I. At school we have a black mat that has been cut to cover the entire stage floor so you don’t have to look at the floor-boards. It also makes it so the light doesn’t reflect of the polished floor. Anyway today I rolled it up and put it back into storage so it wont be seen until next year and that also means that there are no more performances this year and that the speech Nights are just around the corner.

Its over :(
The Tattoo is now over and won’t be back for another 2 years 
The final night was a big success on the technical side but performance wise the only good items were the Senior ones. The highlight of the show was the finally. I was there dancing with Clarabel, The Cow and they got plenty of video footage as well 
Today was bump out and I arrived at School around 8 and found that Dale was sleeping in the orchestra pit and Johnny was in his van. We managed to get everything down by around lunch time which was good and also a shame. We had over 80 hours worth of work taken down in around 5 hours.

Today was the dress rehursal for Castlfield. After all the work we did yeasturday nd wht happend today it is safe tosay that the Tattoo will be ready for oponing night on Monday. I have finaly gotten a role for the Tattoo, I think. I am pretty sure that I am a stage hand/runner/Assistant to SM & ASM. I hope that all the work that we have put into the show pays off tomorow night.

Saturday
Today was the last day we realy had to get things ready for the Tattoo which is on Monday. I arrived at school at 8:30ish to help Al clean the floor. It looked realy good when we cleaned it but its all dirty again after a whole day working. We finished haning the blacks, cleared out side stage, made a massive pile of road cases and chairs in D2, (shown Below) and did some painting and this was all befor 12:00. After 12 i was fealing realy tiered so sat down for a while but that can’t be, I was forced into more work. I had to fill the gap that is inffront of the rear Bio Box whith black seemboard because the blacks that usualy go there are missing. I did it and Belly said it looked shit so I had to do it again. Then fealing tiered again i went looking for easy job to do so I set up all the music stand lights for the band, which sounds like a easy task but when you have to gaff eveything down and you have arround 7 powerboards and 2 extention cords it isn’t as easy as it sounds.

What am I doing?
The Tattoo is fast approaching and I am stuck going in on Saturday and Sunday to get things ready for Monday but I still don’t know what I’ll be doing on the night. It will ether be; ASM type person, sound caller/operator or lighting caller or end up doing nothing.
Today was the first full run through of the Castlfield performance and I was doing sound stuff for it but the other day I was doing stage manager work, e.g. Tidying the stage, delegating jobs to people and pretty much everything else and I have also been doing allot with regards to lighting.
