Act 1
This is a new log or me to use for all my adventures that occur during my time as a Techie. I am not a professional Techie who works for a big theatre company, but I do do all the tech stuff for my school because no one else has the skills to use the lights, or the PA. I also look after the performing arts information for my school. I’ve been doing this stuff since grade 5 and have heaps of fun doing it!

The Commonwealth Games
Well the commonwealth games have officially begun so for the next 11 days be prepared for fun, fun, fun!!!!
Although I watched hardly any of the opening ceremony because it was boring I wouldn’t have liked to be sitting on the edge of the Yarra river watching the fish and the lights, I kinda got thought it would be a good idea after Kong and I spent the day in the city and we walked around the river and I kept stoping to look at the lights. I found out from Dale that a lot of the lights that were sitting on the sides of those fish pontoon things actually fell into the river in the weeks leading up to the opening ceremony and he said that the lighting guys have been taking each one apart and drying them with hair dryers. I hope everything went well for Dale tonight because he was one of the assistant stage-manages for the production, (if you want to know where he was, he was on top of one of the buildings.
So if they took out the actual sporting games and the boring parts I would have liked to go and see it but o well tho it would be kinda nice to watch the activities on the Yarra River.
