Who would have thought…..

Who would have thought that there could be so many damaged things in a reasonably modern house? Everyday there seems to be something else breaking. The tiles in the pool are breaking off, the tiles on the roof are breaking, because the tiles on the roof are breaking the roof now leaks, the path in the backyard is a piece of crap, the heater for the pool broke, the dishwasher flooded the kitchen, the washing machine flooded the laundry, the there are some cracks in the walls of the house and ants are taking over the yard and they are making there way into the roof of our house.

Well anyway enough bitching I’m sure there are other houses in bad condition as well.

Driving fun

Now that I’m 16 I went and got my learner’s license so now I can drive (with a licensed person). The test wasn’t that hard I was skilled enough to get 88% for the test, this was better than some of my exam results. Anyway I went for my first ‘legal’ drive (not that I’ve done any illegal driving) and found that it was basically what I expected. We went to this big empty block and drover around in circles for a while and then went out onto a fairly deserted road and drove in that area for a while. I wasn’t that bad of a driver but I did make a few mistakes. I was able to freak the instructor out a few times by reversing really fast instead of going forward like I was supposed too and swerving on the road.

Well anyway it was fun and will now be able to do some driving and in a couple of years I can get my P’s, won’t that be fun.

Two Way Radios

It was my birthday a few weeks ago and was given money for it because I couldn’t decide what I wanted. Anyway the other day I was at cash converters and found a pair of Uniden 2 way radios that looked brand new but they weren’t. So I decided to pay the $39 for them and was happy that I bought them but wasn’t happy about spending money because I’m trying to save up to buy an Apple ibok computer which is hard when you don’t have a job. Anyway I bought these radios because they were the same brand as the ones I use at school and they will work with the ones they use. So this way with having my own I don’t have to go around trying to find a teacher with a key to the drama department and have to ask for the radios.

Its the holodays

It is now school holidays for me. :) I have 3 weeks of doing nothing while doing something. I am going to be able sleep in for the next few weeks before school starts again, YAY. I am also going to watch movies, (good movies) and hang out with friends.

There are also some tech crew meetings and rehearsals at school in the final week of the holidays for the school musical ‘Little shop oh horrors’ which is being performed sometime in August. I don’t mind going to these tech crew things because I get to see some of my friends there so its not like I’m the only person I know who is at the meeting/rehearsal and I can start setting up the lighting rig for the show. Which I always like to do. (If you don’t know me, I like doing lighting and sound for school productions and even small things like assemblies)

Hello all.

This is my first post for this web blog so it may not be all that interesting and it may take a while for me to get used to everything.
I have made this blog page because I was bored and wanted something to do and I got the idea for a web blog off some people I know and then, this was born. Anyway be prepared for some interesting and/or boring posts.
